REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY

This Refunds & Returns Policy governs purchases made from premiersafetyzambia.com and applies to all products supplied by Premier Safety Zambia Limited (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Overview

Premier Safety Zambia Limited supplies Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety products for industries and households. Due to the safety-sensitive nature of these products, returns and refunds are subject to strict conditions to protect product integrity and customer safety.


2. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return if:

  • The item is defective;
  • The item was damaged during delivery;
  • You received the wrong product;
  • The product does not match the confirmed order.

To qualify for a return:

  • The product must be unused;
  • The product must be in its original packaging;
  • All tags, seals, and labels must remain intact;
  • Proof of purchase must be provided.

We reserve the right to inspect all returned goods before approving a refund or replacement.


3. Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, the following items are non-returnable unless defective:

  • Used Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Safety helmets, gloves, masks, or respirators that have been opened or worn
  • Customized or branded items
  • Special order or bulk procurement items
  • Clearance or discounted items (unless faulty)

4. Return Request Procedure

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at [email protected] within a reasonable time after receiving the product.
  2. Include:
    • Order number
    • Description of the issue
    • Photographs (if applicable)
  3. Await written approval before sending the product back.

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.


5. Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to our error (wrong item or confirmed defect), we may arrange replacement or agree on return handling.
  • If the return is not due to our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • We are not responsible for goods lost or damaged during return transit.

6. Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
  • Processing time may vary depending on payment provider.
  • Shipping and handling fees are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

We reserve the right to deduct reasonable costs if returned goods show signs of handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them.


7. Exchanges

Where possible, we may offer:

  • Replacement of defective goods; or
  • Exchange for an alternative product of equal value (subject to availability).

If the replacement item is of higher value, the customer must pay the difference.


8. Damaged or Defective Products

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Notify us immediately upon delivery or within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Provide clear photographic evidence.

Failure to report visible damage promptly may affect your claim.


9. Bulk and Corporate Orders

For bulk or corporate purchases:

  • Specific return terms may be governed by written contracts or purchase agreements.
  • Customized corporate orders are strictly non-refundable unless defective.

10. Inspection and Approval

All returned products are subject to inspection. We reserve the right to:

  • Reject returns that do not meet policy requirements;
  • Decline refunds where products show evidence of use or tampering.

Our decision following inspection shall be final.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Premier Safety Zambia Limited shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses;
  • Business interruption;
  • Loss of profits;
  • Improper use of safety equipment.

Our total liability for approved claims shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.


12. Governing Law

This Refunds & Returns Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.

Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Zambian courts.
